With dual 5G radios, 4 Sims, 5 Ethernet Ports and GNSS, the NB3800 is one of a range of routers for on-board mobile network data and voice communication for Off-Train Mobile Comms Gateway (MCG) by Net Module.

This modular product is ideal for multiple on-board applications where support performance and security need to be of the highest standard. Powerful Wi-Fi modules like the NB3800 Cellular Router can be used for passenger Wi-Fi and for offloading data at the depot. The router platform offers numerous expansion options, such as GSM-R, GNSS, CAN, IBIS, digital I/O, RS-232, RS-485, 1 TB SSD, and audio. With SDK-based or virtualization-based programming, sophisticated applications such as Edge Computing can be efficiently realized. In addition, 4x4 MIMO antennas can be retrofitted for future 5G product variants.
